Chi Chi is the black and white Shih Tzu and Booey is the Yorkie. Others are Myu and Aman the 2 toy poodles. Chi and Booey met each other here about a year ago and now they are together again.

Suzie the shih tzu loves playing with her pink bed. She would overturn and pushes it until she is able to stay under it. Suzie is an easy going pet and belongs to Claire and Nigel who are now in Brisbane.

Pepe the chihuahua

Pepe and family is looking for a good dog sitter to care for him when his family is away on holiday. They could not find a suitable place for the little Pepe for a while now. According to "mom" they found Dog Sitter Singapore's website while doing a search in the internet and decided to visit us. They were more than happy to put Pepe in our care because they deemded us to be professional and caring. You are always welcomed here little Pepe!

JJ,the Coton de Tulear needed grooming badly and so I brought him here for a neat haircut. Hope "daddy" and "mommy" will like the style of grooming.

Outing at Changi Beach

These 3 toy breeds of Pomeranian and 2 Chihuahua had a fun time at Changi beach yesterday. It was a 30 minutes ride to the beach and they enjoyed the car ride as well. Being a weekday, the beach was almost deserted. At first we brought them to Pungol beach but it was not as good and clean as Changi. We will post a video of the outing in a short while.

The stress of temperature change or damp conditions is believed by some to contribute to CC. A different environment in the kennel, strange people and other animals, reduced rest (from barking), and more crowded conditions can reduce a healthy dog's immune response. Add parainfluenza (or other viruses) with Bordetella (or other respiratory bacteria) and your dog has a hacking cough. Just as humans are prone to upper respiratory infections (common colds) when in certain conditions, it boils down to basic immunity. Have your ever been on a plane or in a room with a lot of people when someone sneezes? You may go home perfectly healthy, but your friend or relative will get a cold. It's no one's fault--it just happens.

TWO TYPES OF VACCINES. (And safe for puppies as well as pregnant bitches!)

There is the painlessly applied nasal vaccine which builds protection at the site of potential infection, starting within 48 hours. The "nose drop" vaccine is the one that we recommend for your dog. (Even though it is "painless" some dogs are resentful and will struggle.)

And, there is the injection by needle that works through the dog's lymph immune system. the needle injection vaccine requires two injections 3 to 4 weeks apart in order to build long-term protection against CC. Since some people don't go back for the booster 3-4 weeks after the initial vaccine, we do NOT recommend the injectable vaccine. Check with your veterinarian for his/her recommendations.

Billy usually find eating more of a chore than enjoyment. At home, he is usually fed with beef that cost an average of $5 to $6 per 100 grams and yet he would not appreciate that much as when he is here. The beef we bought for Billy cost only about $1 per 100 grams and you can see from the video he is really craving for it. Billy loves our beef because we painstakingly pressure cooked until it is tender and juicy and he loves his beef this way.

Our dog Hua Hua has been on this prevention ever since we got him. Because of this product, he was able to come home flea-less and tick-less after the one-month quarantine in Jurong. This product has definitely taken the relationship we have with our dog to a higher level as he can jump up and sleep with us on our bed anytime he wants!

Once a month, apply the liquid drug on the back of your dog, somewhere in between the shoulders and the back so that the dog is not able to lick it. Do not pat that part of your dog after the drug is applied.

Koko is a 12 year old spayed female Maltese belonging to Audrey. Koko was nicked by us here at Dog Sitter Singapore as "Queen Koko" because of the dignified manner in which she conducted herself. Koko is a lovely and pretty pet and we missed her after Audrey took her home.

The above pictures show the young couple Shanice and jason who are keen on adopting Benji and the last 2 pics was taken at Guat's place as well as the videos.
The owner indicated she would prefer Guat,the school teacher to be Benji's new owner.
Last weekend was quite hectic for me as I had to interview and entertain potentials owners who were interested in rehoming Benji.Even till this very day,there were people calling to enquire about Benji.
I was offered money by people to let them rehome Benji but I did not think they were qualified enough. My main concern here was to get a better home for Benji and I decided to recommend Guat which in my opinion was the best candidate to be Benji's new "Mommy".
I will be visiting Benji again with her "mommy" to ensure the smooth transfer of Benji to his new home.
Good luck Benji and hope you will find your new "Mommy" and new home a suitable one.

Corgi Coco says Sayonara!

Coco was overjoyed to see "Okasan" again after 6 days at Dogsitter Singapore. Coco was a reserved type and stuck to herself most of the time. Due to her age,she couldn't control her salivary glands. We will miss her very much but according to her "Okasan" she would be back at Dogsitter Singapore soon.

Since our ads was published in the dogs' forum,there was a overwhelming interest and response from dog lovers who wanted to rehome Benji.
If you cannot afford to spend quality time with Benji eg. couples who are both working or travelling a lot or would lock Benji in the house for long period of time due to some other committment etc...please do not try to adopt Benji.
At the moment,we have shortlisted at least 5 families who may be considered potential Benji's owners. The decision to let Benji rehome with which family would finally come from Benji's owner.

Libby is a female spayed 4 1/2 yrs old Wheaton Terrier. Her "Mommy" is Veronica and she and Leona are now holidaying in Japan. Libby is here for 10 days and she is off to a good start with her playmate Belle,the 3 year old toy poodle.
Libby has very good toilet habits ie. she does her "businesses" outside. We take Libby out for her walks,which is 4 times in a day. She hardly barks at all.
